Fall Out Boy Rock "Centuries" For An Amazing Crowd on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"
Fall Out Boy paid Jimmy Kimmel a visit earlier this week on his ABC late show to perform two songs live before a robust crowd of fans and help him out in a skit. The rock band will be releasing in the coming months their sixth studio album.
At “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz and the rest of Fall Out Boy took to the TV show’s outdoor stage just outside the LA studios to perform for the first time “Centuries”, which is the lead single from that upcoming FOB 6th album (I am still mind-blown by that killer chorus!), and “Young Volcanoes”, a song from the band’s 2013 album “Save Rock and Roll”.
Great playing by the band, superb vocals by Patrick Stump, and what an amazing crowd they had! It’s not very often you this kind of energy in a “Jimmy Kimmel Live” crowd. They usually have their phones in their hands, and don't really see the performance through their own eyes but their phone screens. But that changed in Fall Out Boy's performance. I saw almost no phones, but a lot of hand clapping.
