Exclusive Lyric Premiere: Haley And Michaels - “Drinking About You” + The Country Duo Tell Us All About Their New Single!
Last year I let you know all about up-and-coming country duo Haley And Michaels and their magnificent wedding anthem single “Giving It All (To You)” - which garnered very impressive popularity and streaming numbers in the US - after their performance on “The Today Show”, made possible by the duo’s fan and co-host of the NBC morning show Hoda Kotb - and whose lyrics originally were the real-life couple’s wedding vows.
Now in 2016, Haley And Michaels are switching their sound up a bit for something more “edgy” and “moody”. Intrigued?
They will be releasing their brand new single titled “Drinking About You” this Friday, July 1st, on iTunes - a song that'll be appearing on an upcoming EP.

“This song is about that part of the process of moving on from the past where you're stuck. That night when you're still missing someone and you can't stop thinking about them. Or in this case - drinking about them.”
“This song “Drinking About You” captures more of an edge and moody vibe than our previous sound. We experimented with different ways to use our voices together and we took more chances on this project. We are so thrilled to have teamed up with Reid Shippen and Zach Abend as our producers, they really helped us capture the energy we wanted.”
