Evanescence - What You Want (Music Video!)
After a super duper long hiatus of five years, American rock band Evanescence - led by the extraordinary Amy Lee, return to the music scene with their much-anticipated third studio album, which will be sef-titled! "Evanescence" will hit stores worldwide on October 11th via Wind-up/EMI - The lead single is the freedom-themed song "What You Want", which has so far peaked at #68 on the Hot 100 in the US, whereas in the UK the single has hit the top spot on the Rock Songs Chart. I think the song is good, but not as good as Evanescence's previous first singles ("Bring Me to Life" & "Call Me When You're Sober").
Today (September 13th) Evanescence premiered the music video for "What You Want" which was directed by Meiert Avis. It's basically a 'performance' video, mixed with random scenes of the band members wandering through an empty city. The ultimately look for the sea where they submerge in..wtf? OK clip.
