Emily Osment Performs On 'The View'

Emily Osment performed her new single "LoveSick" on ABC's daytime hit show 'The View' earlier this week. The 18-year-old has chosen this Toby Gad-co written tune as the follow-up to "Let's Be Friends" - the lead single of her debut album "Fight or Flight" (September 2010). I haven't posted much about Emily on DL but nevertheless, if you didn't know, her debut LP is one of my poppy guilty pleasures. I just love it :). So sad though it ultra-mega-super flopped in the US. However, the contrary occoured overseas. "Fight or Flight" and "Let's Be Friends" did OK/decently in some European countries and Japan. I personally would give the US one last chance and if her next single flops I would change markets. Emily come to Europe!

"LoveSick" is one of my fave tunes in "Fight or Flight" so I'm more than happy with the new single choice. Ms Osment has finally started promoting it in the states this week with a performance on 'The View'. Watch in the video above firstly an interview with two of the show co-hosts and then the performance of "LoveSick". I love the song, I love Emily but that performance sucked. BOO! I don't know if it was her fault though. It appeared to me like she couldn't hear herself with the earpiece, therefore the off-key moments.
