Emblem3 - "3000 Miles" (Video)

Emblem3 portray the story of a young couple that have to face distance because one of them is leaving town for college in the music video for "3000 Miles". The pop/rock ballad serves as the second single from the California trio's debut LP "Nothing to Lose".

Really sweet video (directed by Ethan Lader), but the single choice is absolutely terrible. "Chloe" wasn't that uptempo, and "3000 Miles" is more of ballad, but the thing is that Emblem3's most memorable song to date if "Sunset Blvd", which is a straight-up uptempo, so the question is?. Why isn't their label choosing an uptempo as the band's new single?. "Chloe" was so not a good first single choice, and "3000 Miles" is a cute ballad, but it's an album filler, not a single! What are they doing? These guys have talent but after "3000 Miles" bombs on the charts, their label bosses will be a bit worried, I'm sure. They'll give them a third, and last single, and if that flops too, game over. They're doing good in tours, though. Maybe focus a bit more on that now. And, possibly re-releasing "Nothing to Lose later, with a potent new original song/single.
