Ellie Goulding Performs "On My Mind" For The First Time at 2015 Apple Music Festival: Watch
Ellie Goudling has kicked off the 2015 Apple Music Festival, which will host concerts at The Roundhouse in London, England from September 19th to September 28th. The British singer-songwrited performed a lengthy show last night in front of 3000 fans, who were fast enough to get the hot tickets when they came out.
The most important part of Ellie's set yesterday was when she delivered the very first live performance of her Max Martin-produced brand new single "On My Mind", the first piece of music to be heard from Ms. Goulding's upcoming third studio album "Delirium" that will be released in stores on November 6th.
Great vocal performance of the catchy and radio-friendly "On My Mind", and the light effects in the background looked cool!...Yet I feel like there was something missing. Hmmm, maybe back-up dancers were required or a better camera work? I don't know. "On My Mind" possesses a very different sound from anything Ellie's released in the past, more pop if you will, so I feel like she should definitely adapt her performances to this sound change in some way. What do you think? Nevertheless, I enjoyed this performance, and I'm totally loving the new single!
