Elle King Says She’s Going To Hell In NEW SONG “Good Girls”: Listen Now!

elle king good girls

Damn! I had no idea Elle King had this badass rock chick inside of her.

The 26-year-old NYC singer, who rose to fame in 2014-2015 thanks to her smash hit "Ex's & Oh's", sings the theme song of the upcoming new "Ghostbusters" movie and it is called "Good Girls". If you didn't know in the new "Ghostbusters" remake the main cast is all girls - hence Elle's song being so "girly".

"Good Girls", co-written between Miss Elle King and Dave Bassett, was released everywhere today (June 3rd) via RCA Records and Sony Music. And that's the official artwork for the single above. It's a black and white photograph of Elle looking sideways (as if she was throwing shade to someone) and sporting a leather jacket with the "Ghostbusters" legendary logo on it.

Although the title of this song is "Good Girls", don't be fooled by it. It's the complete opposite. "Since I'm gonna go to hell anyway / I’ll go out with a bang / Crash and burn it all away / I do what the good girls should never ever, never ever do”, sings Elle King in the chorus. The newly-released track is vintage-y-sounding, and all about anthemic rock. "Bad girls" of all over the world, yeah, those of you who know you will "go to hell" for sure, this is your song. But "Good Girls" is also a song for all Elle King lovers. She really explores new limits with her voice in this one. Those raspy vocals of hers in this song slayed me a bit. I loved!

Hit or Miss?
