Does Ariana Grande Need This Much Make-Up To Look Good? See The Upsetting “Focus” Video Preview!

If a woman is a natural beauty, does she really need to put on a ridiculous amount of make-up (which virtually distorts her face) to look "good"?

It seems that Ariana Grande’s answer to this question is “hell yeah!”.

The pint-sized singer from Boca Raton, Florida uploaded to her official Instagram account last night (Oct. 24) the first preview of the music video for “Focus”, the first single from her upcoming third studio album, rumored to be titled “Moonlight”. In view of what’s shown in this preview clip, it looks like Ariana will be releasing her new single on iTunes and the music video on VEVO the same day, something that would make Ariana the latest artist to jump on the bandwagon of dropping everything you’ve got on the same day in order to achieve the highest sales possible for your new song in your first week (most recent example: Adele with “Hello”).

In this super short clip of the “Focus” music video, actually out of the 15 seconds that make up this Instagram video only 4 belong to the “Focus” MV, we can see Ariana singing the “1, 2, 3…come on, girls” fragment of “Focus” in a pink-light illuminated set. Additionally, our eyes can see a witch-looking Ariana Grande wearing liters of make-up foundation on her face, accompanied by hoochie pink eye shadow and pink lipstick. The witch look is completed with some scary light-grey hair color.

Ariana is a pretty girl. She does not need this quantity of make-up to look good. In fact, it does the complete opposite.

Thoughts?
