DJ Cassidy (feat. Jessie J & Robin Thicke) - "Calling All Hearts" [Music Video Premiere]
It's the power of pink! DJ Cassidy premiered on VEVO today (March 4th) the music video for his groovy song "Calling All Hearts", featuring Jessie J and Robin Thicke, which serves as the lead single from his forthcoming debut album "Paradise Royale".
The retro, feel-good anthem sounds to me like a bona-fide summertime hit! I would have waited a little bit longer to start pushing "Calling All Hearts" but I guess the online leak of the full audio last December forced Columbia Records to rush things.
DJ Cassidy shot the video pink video for "Calling All Hearts" with Jessie J and Robin in London, while Jessie J still had her super short blonde hair. She's now dyed her hair black, and although it's still short, she decided to wear a weave for the 2014 BRIT Awards.
I really like "Calling All Hearts", and it doesn't matter it's "retro" feeling, 'cause vintage sounds are in full fashion right now. Just listen to Pharrell's "Happy". The pink video may look too simple, but it's really perfect for the song. It didn't require more budget. The heart-shaped pink platform, and everybody groovy to the feel-good jam was clever.
