Demi Lovato & Tove Lo Sing “Cool For The Summer” Together In Tampa! Awkward But Cool?
Demi Lovato played her last “Jingle Ball” gig of the season over the weekend in Tampa, Florida. And at this special occasion, the 23-year-old singer closed out her iHeartRadio-sponsored concert with a super unexpected performance of her pop hit “Cool for the Summer”, bringing out Swedish star Tove Lo on stage with her at the Amalie Arena. The “Talking Body” singer hit the scene at the beginning of the second verse, her doing all the singing of that part alone. Truth is Tove Lo looked a bit scruffy (however, this is usual from her) and a bit unprofessional too the other day with Demi. She interrupted her singing because seemingly something made her laugh. I can only assume it was the moment she kind of got hot and heavy with Demi during the “I just wanna play with you too” part. For real…? Thankfully, Tove Lo got it together really quick. Chemistry-wise, Demi and Tove Lo didn’t have the best one ever, but overall the performance was ok. They sang “Cool for the Summer” rather well and moved across the entire stage really feeling the song. There were more “intimate/body to body” moments throughout the performance, but they all looked weird. I mean, if Tove Lo were a lesbian, you could totally tell Demi wouldn’t be her type.
Did you know Demi and Tove Lo were buddies? Me neither! I wonder if we’ll be getting a collaboration on either one of them’s next albums? That’d be one interesting song to hear! Kind of like the unexpected collab between Justin Bieber and Halsey.
