Demi Lovato released a few days ago a brand new song called “You Don’t Do It For Me Anymore” off of her upcoming sixth studio album “Tell Me You Love Me”, which will be out in stores on September 29. Could “You Don’t Do It For Me Anymore” be the best song we’ve heard so far from Demi’s around-the-corner project? Yes, it could be.
“I see the future without you / The hell was I doing in the past? / Now that I've learned all about you / A love just like ours wouldn't last”, sings Demi in the angry lyrics of the opening verse. For her to later say “So don't hate me when I say / That you / Don't do it for me anymore” in the chorus. Demi’s just-released countdown single is a power ballad about realizing you’ve made a mistake (dating someone who wasn’t right for you) and getting to a solution before it’s too late.
