David Guetta has world premiered the music video for "Turn Me On", his dance/pop collaboration with raptress Nicki Minaj, third official single from Guetta's "Nothing but the Beat" album, and the current #1 song on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart. "Turn Me On" is hotter than hot, and I had no doubts it was going to be a certfied hit! Congrats to both David and Her Minajesty. BTW, "Turn Me On" has funnily become Nicki's first Billboard #1 ever. Anyhow, now commenting on the newly-premiered MV, this was directed by Sanji (Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez) and it features a 'plot' I was certainly not envisioning. It's original yes, I like it, yes but it's not a vid I'd wanna watch over and over again, you know. Ever since the American Music Awards performance performance, I thought the music video's theme would be like that with the robots and high-technology stuff. I mean, if Nicki were a 'robot' that could explain the crazy auto-tune on her voice...uh-huh, savvy! But anyway, this is okay too. The Sanji-directed visual sees Minaj and Guetta in a factory warehouse creating plastic dummies that come to life. Spooky!
What do YOU think of the music video/song?
