“Culo Gordo” Raptress Nicki Minaj Jumps On “Krippy Kush” Spanglish Remix: Stream

Chances are if you live in the U.S and you only listen to English music radios you don’t know who Farruko or Bad Bunny are. But worry not. Thanks to Nicki Minaj you will now know who those guys are. So, Farruko and Bad Bunny are rappers from Puerto Rico who have had independent massive reggaeton hits in the latest years all around Latin America and within the Latin community in the U.S. Now, they are looking to break the English-speaking market of America with a Spanglish remix of their latest collaboration “Krippy Kush”. “Will pure reggaeton work in the U.S, though?”. That would be a valid question if “Krippy Kush” were reggaeton but it’s actually a trap song! Farruko and Bad Bunny looked this year to expand their musical universe outside reggaeton and they organically moved to trap music. And this is working so well for them! “Krippy Kush” has over 100 million streams throughout different digital platforms and its music video has racked up 500 million views online. Now, Columbia Records, the label promoting this song in America, is bringing “Krippy Kush” to the land of the free, and the home of the brave, but with a slight modification: a Spanglish remix featuring Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage. The remix was released yesterday, November 21.

The most interesting parts of the “Krippy Kush” Spanglish remix is Nicki Minaj talking in Spanish in the remix (we DIED when she said “culo gordo” (“fat asss”)) and of course her English rap verse. She slayed her lyrics about drugs, money, and bitches!

PS: Don't you think too Future would've been excellent for this remix instead of 21 Savage?
