How many “I Bet” remixes there has to be? Enough is enough, CC.

R&B singer Ciara’s new album “Jackie” hit US stores yesterday, May 4, and although she’s not uploading the entire thing on VEVO, she does want to give fans a little something to make them want to get an album copy if they are hesitating. So what audio did she just make available on VEVO? Maybe that of the confirmed next single “That’s How I’m Feeling”? Unfortunately not. She uploaded the “I Bet” duet version with Joe Jonas. Girl, for real? We have the original version, the R3hab club remix, the urban version with T.I, and now the duet with Joe Jonas?

First of all, I’m starting to hate “I Bet” because of all of these unnecessary remixes, and second, why can’t you upload other album songs on VEVO and only focus on “I Bet”? This is not going to get anyone excited about running to a store to buy “Jackie”. Believe me. Why I’m so sure? Because this version with Joe Jonas is the worst version of “I Bet” so far, and this is not making me happy.

Why Joe Jonas? Why couldn’t it be Nick? What was L.A Reid thinking?

Joe’s vocals are weak, Ciara and him have absolutely no chemistry, the song is about the strong feelings about a man and a woman and I cannot buy the image they’re trying to sell us that Ciara and Joe could be lovers…I mean it’s all wrong. This duet version needed to have a strong male vocalist, someone with deeper/crooner vocals, more expertise, and a more manly attitude. And Joe Jonas ain’t it.

Original or duet?
