Christina Aguilera & Katy Perry Perform at 2010 MTV Movie Awards!
Pop stars Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry performed as scheduled at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. The ceremony took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre on June 6, in Universal City, California. Ms Aguilera did a medley of songs; starting with a intro of "Bionic", then "Not Myself Tonight" and finally "Woo Hoo". She was on FIRE last night! Performance was overall strong, sad that she lip-synched several parts though. She didn't need it really. In any case, this is the best performance thus far of the "Bionic" era. Yet, I still don't agree with the Nicki Minaj-assisted "Woo Hoo" being picked as the next single. "Desnudate" has HIT written all over it.
On the other hand, the one & only Katy Perry performed her beach-friendly pop song "California Gurls" with the help of rapper Snoop Dogg. Very nice! Katy killed it too. Loving the new look. The new single currently stands at #2 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and I'm sure this MTV performance will give it that last push needed to hit the top. Remember, the music video comes out June 10.
