It’s been many days that every day R&B star Chris Brown has premiered new music videos on VEVO. What for? To create hype leading up to the release of his new studio album “Royalty”. The album in question got released on Friday and that same day the last music video, from the daily streak he had accustomed us, premiered. It was the “MV” for the song “Little More” and it features the wrapping story of the series that began with the “Liquor/Zero” music video.
Was the identity of the old man that was looking kill Chris finally revealed? Hell no! Say whaaaaaat? I’ve been watching these music videos daily for nothing? Come on, Chris. Don’t play with me.
The “Little More” music video opens with a quick recap of the best moments from the past music videos: “Liquor/Zero”, “Fine By Me”, “Back To Sleep”, “Wrist”, “Anyway”, and “Picture Me Rolling”. After this flashback, Chris Brown wakes up in his bed looking surprised to see a baby girl sitting next to him. It appears that he doesn’t know who she is at all. After the video moves on, it’s understood what he comes to realize that she is her daughter, Royalty, and that he must love her no matter what. So he makes her laugh, they play together, he feeds her breakfast, and of course he treats her with the finest things in life, like a mini mink coat. The video ends up with baby Royalty scaring us with some radioactive green color illuminating her eyes for a couple of seconds. It looks like somehow Chris has passed the “poison” that drank in the “Liquor/Zero” video to her daughter? What does this mean? Will there be a continuation to the series? ‘Cause he said the last video would be released the day his new album was released, and therefore “Little More” has to be the last video, and therefore the wrapping up of the saga.
