Cheryl Cole - The Flood (Music Video!)

Cheryl Cole has premiered today via UK's music channel '4music' the videoclip for "The Flood", the second single lifted from the singer's latest LP "Messy Little Raindrops" - "The Flood" becomes the follow-up to "Promise This", the hit single that gave Cheryl her second number one song in the UK as a solo artist. The Wayne Wilkins & T-Wiz co-produced "The Flood" is a cute ballad, might have cheesy lyrics but I don't why I smell a new Top 10 hit for Cheryl. The chorus is quite good tho, that big note gave me goosebumps! but...I wonder if she could reproduce it in a live performance? lol. As for the music vid, it's what everyone was expecting. Scenes of Cheryl in a 'beach house', a gloomy feeling/environment, Cheryl taking a walk by the beach, with close-ups of her and the sea, and some glamorous shots. My veredict? Not bad, not great. Just safe. For the 3rd single, I hope Cheryl releases either "Yeah Yeah" or "Better To Lie".
