Charli XCX - 'Boom Clap' [Music Video]

Charli XCX - who recently scored her first US #1 thanks to Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy' - has premiered via MTV.com the music video for her song 'Boom Clap', the British pop singer's contribution to the soundtrack of 'The Fault in Our Stars’, the Josh Boone-directed romantic comedy-drama film, opening in theaters on June 6th.

The 21-year-old singer-songwriter shot the video below in Amsterdam, where 'The Fault in Our Stars’ was partially filmed in too. Charli rides boat, gets lost in a sea of bikes, walks the streets, and poses on various canal bridges in the ‘Boom Clap’ music video. Charli really loves her 'grunge' outfits, huh? It's at times incredible how these brilliant pop songs - 'SuperLove' or 'I Love It' by Icona Pop (which she wrote and then sold) - can come from such an 'edgy' girl like Charli XCX.

By the way, although 'Boom Clap' hasn't been sent to radios, not it’s charting high on iTunes presently, we hope that when 'The Fault in Our Stars’ premieres, people will begin to investigate who the singer of 'that catchy song' 'Boom Clap' is, will then buy the song, and give Charli XCX a new hit, 'cause the song is MAJOR!
