Camila Cabello has bigger plans for “Havana”.
Hits Daily Double revealed in an article today that the Cuban-American pop singer is to release a remix of her current smash hit “Havana” with Daddy Yankee in the very near future. This means Camila will try to “Despacito” (using it as a verb) “Havana”. She will remix it with a popular name in Latin American music culture, she will make of it a Spanglish song, and potentially she will retouch the production of “Havana”. And curious thing is that she’s selected reggaeton singe Daddy Yankee for this remix endeavor, the same person who was part of the “Despacito” mania. So she’s definitely thinking big for this remix. And we think that the outcome of this could be huge for Camila. This would open markets for her in Latin America, and Spain, and positive sales of the “Havana” remix in the U.S could make the original song get a quickly boost on the Billboard charts.
"Camila Cabello f/Young Thug, “Havana” (SYCO/Epic): The first solo hit for the former Fifth Harmony siren is already big and about to get even bigger with a Daddy Yankee remix."
We can’t wait to hear this!!!!
PS: Could this mean that Camila is thinking about shooting different versions of the “Havana” music video (still to come) for each edit of the song? Cool!
