Camila Cabello sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe today for his Beats 1 show. During the 30 minute conversation, Camila discussed leaving Fifth Harmony, her journey to date as a soloist, and her upcoming first album “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving”. Zane Lowe is such a great interviewer, always getting the “juicy” headlines from the artists, and this interview with Camila Cabello was no exception.
“Leaving the group isn't the safe option. Safe thing would’ve been to keep singing the songs & doing the choreography”, she said when inquired about whether it was right or wrong to leave Fifth Harmony so abruptly.
“Scar Tissue” she co-wrote with Charli XCX and “The Boy” was a song Ed Sheeran sent her. Camila just re-wrote a few lyrics.
Curious thing, though: In a recent interview in a radio station Camila Cabello said “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving” WON'T be an album about "boys"… but she’s going to have a song called “The Boy” on it. Hmmm, maybe this song will have a twist? It better be that. I know Camila is no liar…
