Calvin Harris Comes For Taylor Swift On Twitter - But Why So Much Hate? “Not A Bad Buy, Won’t Bury Me Like Katy”, He Says!
Calvin Harris just lost it on Twitter over Taylor Swift (DRAMA ALERT).
Today (July 13) TMZ broke the news that Taylor Swift was the writer of Calvin’s most-recent smash hit with Rihanna “This Is What You Came For”. Taylor used a pseudonym (Nils Sjöberg) so her real name wouldn’t be added to the credits of the song. Why? Allegedly because she thought that the headline of “Oh look! The first Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift collaboration!” would ultimately overshadow the actual song. Whatever the case, it was her right to use a pseudonym or not. So, as previously said, the news broke today and it took only hours for Taylor’s rep to confirm the revelation. “Taylor Swift wrote "This Is What You Came For" under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg”, the singer’s rep told PEOPLE.
Basically I think Taylor didn’t want the speculation to go on and on forever, potentially giving “This Is What You Came For” some bad publicity, so she decided to kill the rumors via her rep today. Something wrong with it? I don’t think so. But do you know who isn’t agreeing with me? Yeah, Calvin Harris! He is fuming over I don’t know what. He just ranted on Twitter over this news saying that Taylor and her team are trying to leave him as “the bad guy”. But a “bad guy” in what? Taylor just confirmed the rumor that was going on regarding her involvement on "This Is What You Came For”.
Is he mad about the reason for their break-up rumors then?
TMZ is speculating with this:
"The problem in the relationship came the day the song was released. Calvin appeared on Ryan Seacrest's radio show and Ryan asked, "Will you do a collaboration with your girlfriend?" Calvin responded, "You know we haven't even spoken about it. I can't see it happening though."
We're told Taylor was hurt and felt Calvin took it too far."
True or not this is something that is coming from the minds of the TMZ people. “One source told us”, they are saying. Why should they be trusted on that? Yeah, they may have got it right with Taylor’s pseudonym on the “This Is What You Came For” credits but it doesn’t mean they’re right on this other thing. Plus, it would seem as a dumb reason to break up. But anyway, Calvin should be mad at TMZ for spreading these rumors about their break-up reason and not at Taylor! She only wanted to address the pseudonym rumor. Period. She didn’t want to get involved on that other rumor and she has that right. Can you believe Calvin even played the Katy Perry card? So low...
