Pop princess Britney Spears won her first ever People's Choice Award at the 40th annual edition last night (January 8th), beating the likes of Katy Perry, Bruno Mars or even ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake (also in attendance...awkward) in the category of "Favorite Pop Artist". Watch below the "Perfume" singer getting off her seat, walking on stage at the Nokia Theather, receving the award by the hands of Heidi Klum, and delivering a nervous, but cute acceptance speech.
Brit Brit thanked her family, management team, and friends during her few-seconds long speech. She looked really cute last night. But what a shocker this is her first PCA. Seems someone in the awards' senior board realized this and made a few *tweaks* in the voting system to make Britney the winner in this particular category. Because that Briney Spears wins, in 2014, over Katy, Justin or Bruno is something reeeaally strange. Wouldn't you agree? Oh, and she should've performed last night too!
