Good lord. What a song! Are you loving “Blank Space" as much as I do? Is it your favourite song from "1989" already? Then hold on tight to something because “Blank Space” has just been announced as the NEXT official single from Taylor Swift’s new-released first full-pop album. Republic Records (the official distributor in the US for Big Machine Records) has listed “Blank Space” on THIS “upcoming single releases” promo website as scheduled for impact on pop radio on November 10th. Habemus “Shake It Off” follow-up? Yes we do! Am I happy with the 2nd single choice? You bet I am!!! I am THRILLED.

“Shake It Off” topped pop radio and spent two weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. How is "Blank Space" going to improve that? Easy. You just watch it spend more consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard main chart! This song is so huge I', convinced other labels will be delaying their new singles impacting on pop radio on the week of 10th November.

Haven’t heard "Blank Space" yet? Stream it below!!!

“Cause you know I love the players / And you love the game / You look like my next mistake", sings Taylor in the youth anthem. “Cause we're young and we're reckless”, adds T-Swizzle later. Yes, this is a song tailored to relate with the minds of those aged between 15 and 25. You love to be loved, you love to fancied, you love to be watched, to be desired, you don't mind to hook up with a new person every night, and often "make mistakes”. You are young, you are living life, and you should eat the world (and other things if you wanna). That's what "Blank Space" is about. It’s an ode to young people's nowadays love livestyle and ode to Taylor Swift's public love life too. He's dated so many guys, and she's really tired of reading in the tabloids really awful stories about her being kind of a slut and a vixen. Hey! She’s “reckless”, and she’s a “nightmare dressed like a daydream”.

The fantastic verses and choruses are accompanied by a flawless 80's pop production. It's old and modern at the same time. And it definitely reminds me to the sound Lorde’s “Royals’” in a way. For real, what a song! So “instant”, and so hit-sounding. This will definitely have some sort of catalyst effect on you the second you start hearing it. You’ll want to embrace Taylor’s message and go get a new hook up tonight!

Republic/Big Machine Records have made the most intelligent second single choice. And it seems radios already knew “Blank Space” was going to be the second single because on the day "1989" hit stores (last October 27) a NYC radio station played "Blank Space" for the very first time - and it was the only song other than "Shake It Off" from “1989” that they played. Why? It’s obvious they knew something. Either that, or like us, upon hearing "1989" in its entirety it became clear to them “Blank Space” was possibly the best song on the album and it needed some immediate radio love. On her way to GMA on Monday (Oct. 27) caught the radio premiere of "Blank Space" live. Watch the cute video below! Ahhh! Are you ready for the slayage???
