Azealia Banks - "ATM Jam" (Music Video)
Azealia Banks has been struck by a leak. Watch now, before its official YouTube release, the music video for the Harlem raptress' new single "ATM Jam". The Pharrell-assisted song is featured on Azealia's upcoming debut album "Broke with Expensive Taste", which after various delays, will be released "sometime" in January 2014.
The Rony Alwin-directed video is definitely a "trippy" one. Azealia rides into her LA mansion escorted by three of her girl friends, looks into the breath-taking views of the city from her terrace, and wears multiple colorful bikinis as she executes her verses in the hot tub. A filter of "trippy" colors is applied to the entire video. No Pharrell cameo.
I like Azealia's verses on "ATM Jam" but the song as "single" has lost total interest in me. And the video makes no change. Move on to single #3, Azealia.
