Ariana Grande Releases Studio Version of "Pink Champagne": Listen
To celebrate her 10 million Twitter followers milestone, sweet Ariana Grande decided to release the studio version of her song "Pink Champagne". She performed this very-pop track many times during small shows last year and in early 2013. Why it didn't make it into "Yours Truly"?. It seems it was more Ariana's decision. Rumor has it she wasn't so fond of this "very pop" song, and in fact, scraped many of this style. Maybe include a few in album #2?. Keeping it real, I like "Pink Champagne" more than a couple of songs on "Yours Truly". In the video below, Ariana says she recorded "Pink" when she was 17.
"Pink Champagne" is cute. It's a fun song, and although in the studio version (this a very rough recording, though, as clarified by Ariana), her vocals vocals and the instrumental sound a tad different than in the live videos, I still like it.
