30-Sec Snippets of Beyoncé's "7/11" & "Ring Off" Leak: Preview Now!
Wasn’t this supposed to be more like “Partition”? An alleged 30-sec snippet of Beyoncé’s “7/11” surfaced online on Wednesday morning (Nov. 19). The Detail-produced “7/11” is one of the two brand new songs that will appear on the platinum edition of “BEYONCÉ”. The re-pack will hit stores on November 24th (next week!) via Columbia Records. So not too long to find out if this snippet is real or not.
It does sound like Beyoncé in the very beginning and in the ad-libs but the female rapping certainly doesn’t sound her. It could be…but it’d have to be a very auto-tuned Beyoncé and I don’t like the sound of that. If this “7/11” snippet turns out to be real, then the Detail-produced song is going to be a twerk anthem. It’s so RATCHET.
Having heard the snippet, I’m honestly disappointed. It’s a BOP yes, but it’s nothing groundbreaking nor memorable. Feels more like an “Unapologetic” b-side. Fun to bop to it, but that’s it. Maybe the full version will make me change my mind? We’ll see.
