The new music video for “Wild Things” from Alessia Cara will make you want to go back in time and re-live your days as a teenager.
The Canadian singer premiered the OFFICIAL video for her new single “Wild Things” - off the album “Know-It-All” - last night, March 7th, on VEVO. The music video, directed by Aaron A., shows Alessia kicking off things saying “To me, Where the Wild Things Are is a place that exists in our minds” off camera and then meeting with his best friends at a suburban crossroad - and I think these are not some random “on-screen” friends, these are Alessia’s real-life BFFs. Once all together, the group will commence to just have fun by feeling care-free, acting rebellious, singing in homes, playing with pyrotechnics, throwing a flame to produce a bonfire, running through the city wearing animal masks, taking a kids’ playground by storm, Alessia belting “Wild Things” on top of an old car, etc, etc. Uh-huh, this is a music video meant to be seen for those “young” at heart - else you will feel a bit out of place.
The music video ends with the group of friends walking back to their neighborhood and saying goodbye while taking their respective “exit” streets. The last to leave will be our Alessia Cara, who once again, just like in the intro, will amaze us with a reflective speech.
