Adam Lambert - "Ghost Town" [Music Video Premiere!]
Check out the Hype Williams-directed music video for Adam Lambert’s new single “Ghost Town”, which world premiered last night (April 28) on ‘ET’ and made its way onto YouTube immediately after.
The Max Martin-produced deep house-esque track, as you very well know by now if you’re a loyal reader of our website, is the lead single from the Idol alum’s upcoming third studio album “The Original High” which comes out on June 16. This will be Adam’s first album since his departure from RCA and his incorporation to Warner Bros. Music.
A black and white extravaganza
Was the legendary Hype Williams really required for this? Everybody knows his directing fees aren’t cheap so I find it really surprising that Warner would pay him big bucks to direct a rather ‘simple’ MV.
The black and white “Ghost Town” clip shows Adam Lambert serving model face, rocking a suit in a very glam way, and dancers dancing for their life to the thumping beat of the Max Martin-crafted single. It’s nothing ground-breaking but it does look like a perfect music video for a music video club.
