2016 Billboard Music Awards - The Performances [VIDEOS]
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards ceremony took place at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, it was co-hosted by Ludacris and Ciara, and it aired live on ABC last night, Sunday, May 22nd.
This year's "Icon" award was given to Celine Dion, who delivered a majorly emotional performance of the Queen classic "The Show Must Go On" (something that Celine must have bravely told herself after losing her husband and brother earlier this year), while the "Millennium" award was handed to Miss Britney Spears - who opened this year's Billboard Music Awards with a medley performance featuring many of her most popular hits of all time.
Who else took the stage to perform besides Brit Brit and Celine? Here's the full list: Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, Meghan Trainor, Justin Bieber, Pink, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Lukas Graham, Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani, DNCE, Kesha, Rihanna, Troye Sivan, Ariana Grande, and Madonna.
Tidbits: Kesha received a standing ovation following her performance for obvious reasons (can Sony just let her go, please?), and Madonna performed a tribute to late legend Prince with a little help from Stevie Wonder.
