2011 NRJ Awards - The Performances!
The 2011 NRJ Awards were held on Saturday's night at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres in Cannes, France. These are the most popular music awards in France, organised by radio station NRJ in partnership with the national television network TF1. Last's night ceremony saw perform on stage international stars such as Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, The Black Eyed Peas (Fergie and Taboo were holograms! LOL), Usher as well as popular french singer Stromae - who amassed huge success in Europe in 2010 - who performed his smash hit "Alors On Danse". Colombian star Shakira - who simply killed it on stage - took home two awards on Saturday's event while Lady Gaga shockingly only scored one award, which was "Best International Music Video" for her Beyonce duet of "Telephone".
