2011 Metro Radio Live - The Performances
British acts Nicola Roberts, The Saturdays, The Wanted and Parade performed at the 2011 Metro Radio Live concert in Newcastle, England last night (June 9th), a gig thrown by the city's main radio station as the concert's name indicates - Lovely Nicola has now fully emancipated from the Girls Aloud having performed on Friday night her first solo gig ever. Ms Roberts obviously sang her new single "Beat of My Drum". She did good! Although I wish Nicola had hired a few dancers to make the performance even more exiciting.
Next, The Saturday stole the spotlight with her super catchy and fierce new single "Notorious". Boyband The Wanted performed their next album's first single "Glad You Came" and finally Parade performed their UK Top 10 hit "Louder". That was one stars-packed gig! I hope though the radio station organizing the event shot HD/professional videos of the performances, and plan to release them soon.
