2011 Glastonbury Festival - The Performances!
Before Beyonce makes history tonight at the Glastonbury Festival in England - Queen Bee will close this year's festivities - let's check out for a moment what have been some of the greatest performances this weekend - On Friday, Cee-Lo - donning a very Lady Gaga-esque outfit - put the crowd in a good mood with a rousing performance of his hit "Fuck You"- That same day, U2 were the headliners performing several tracks from their back catalogue of hits including one my favorites "Vertigo" (see below).
On Saturday, the uber-talented Janelle Monae showed the UK why she should be huge there with a brilliant live rendition of her masterpiece "Tightrope". Also that day, Tinie Tempah put on a party at the main stage with an energetic set that included his dancefloor smash "Miami to Ibiza", the crowd was feeling this song! Later on Saturday, Jessie J - still with a plastered ankle - invited a little fan to her throne to perform together the uplifting "Price Tag". Finally, rock band Coldplay closed the day with a lengthy concert that included of course their classic tune "In My Place". Goosebumps!
