2011 CMT Awards - The Performances!
The 2011 CMT Awards were held on June 8th at the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville, Tennessee - Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert won the big three awards of the night, Best Video, Best Male and Best Female Video of the Year, respectively. As far as performances go, Jason Aldean performed for the first time on TV the NEW version of his new single "Dirt Road Anthem", now featuring none other than rapper Ludacris. Next, Country trio Lady Antebellum performed a stellar rendition of their US Top 10 hit "Just A Kiss". Another highlight during the awards ceremony was The Band Perry's cover of "Love The Way You Lie". However! THE TV gold moment last night was when Shania Twain suffered an embarrassing tumble while presenting the award for Best Male Video. Oh, em, gee.
