2011 Children In Need - The Performances!
Held this year at Manchester's MEN arena on Thursday night (November 17th), the 2011 'Children In Need' concert saw live performances by: Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Kelly Rowland, Ed Sheeran, James Morrison, JLS and Jessie J. This annual televised event help raise money, by ticket sales and SMS, for the BBC Children in Need, a UK corporate charity, whose main aim is to provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. Very nice gesture by this year's attending artists, who managed to accomodate their busy schedules, and do a non-paid mini-show each. Some highlights of the 2011 'Children In Need' were; Gaga's "Marry the Night" performance, her vocals in this song are craaazy hot, Kelly Rowland's sexy "Down for Whatever" presentation, Jessie J and James Morrison's beautiful rendition of their collabo "Up", or Coldplay's goosebumps-worthy medley of songs.
