2010 Royal Variety Performances!
The 82nd annual Royal Variety Performance which was taped last week on December 9th at the London Palladium finally aired last night via BBC 1. The event - that counted with the presence of His Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales - saw four top acts in the UK music industry perform on stage. Chery Cole delivered the first televised performance of her new single "The Flood" - I think most of it was 'live' but the big "FLOOOOOOOD!!" moment in the chorus was so a pre-recorded track. Pop diva Kylie Minogue performed "Better Than Today", Susan Boyle sang "Perfect Day" - from her latest holiday album "The Gift" - and finally Take That closed the show with a stellar rendition of their hit "The Flood".
